BATTLEFIELD BABY

Battlefield Baby is a multisensory artwork exploring the relationship between trauma, eating disorders, and the internal conflicts shaped by both personal history and societal pressure. Inspired by the research of Claire Llewellyn, the work considers how trauma imprints itself on the body both visibly and invisibly turning it into a site of resistance, vulnerability, and survival.

Engaging the senses through sight, sound, and taste, the piece invites audiences to reflect on how emotional wounds manifest physically, challenging the stigma around mental health and body image. Battlefield Baby opens space for empathy, dialogue, and healing, offering a powerful reflection on resilience and the long road to self-acceptance.
