AREPAS: FROM MEAT TO EARTH

As part of the "From Myth to Earth" exhibition hosted at the Koppel Project in London in 2017, Hernan Barros, representing Food of War, led a gastronomic workshop centered around the significance of the arepa, a staple food in South America, exploring its preparation, culinary nuances, and cultural significance. The event attracted a diverse audience of both locals and immigrants, offering various stages where participants engaged in learning about the historical context of the arepa while also hands-on cooking traditional and experimental variations of this beloved dish.
