About the event
Bottles Under Fire is a new kind of wine festival bringing together wine, art, food, history and storytelling in the heart of East London.
Taste your way through an extraordinary selection of wines from regions shaped by conflict, migration, political change, environmental pressures and cultural resilience. Meet the wine merchants, importers and producers behind the bottles and discover indigenous and forgotten grape varieties, recovering wine regions and terroirs with remarkable stories to tell.
Across the festival, contemporary art and storytelling will reveal the people, places and histories behind the wines. Our programme will take selected stories even further, bringing wine into conversation with winemakers and artists.
Food will also be available throughout the festival, with a carefully selected offering designed to accompany your journey through the wines.
